At the end of the 1990s, the native Swiss became known to an international audience with his group of works “Looking for Love”. He transferred the names of multinational corporations and big names from the world of fashion with ballpoint pens onto the much-photographed skin of supermodels, whose photos he reworked from magazines.
The incised trademarks are reminiscent of tattoos, ulcers or scars and lead to the loss of the seemingly innocent flawlessness of the beauties depicted.
