Katja Davar (*1968 in London) explores the relationship between humans, nature and new technologies in videos, drawings and digital animations. Each of Davar's works is based on intensive research into the respective subject matter. Thus, large-scale drawings or digital works with profound references to the international history of art and literature come to be in the artist's Cologne studio.
Her multifaceted motifs take up utopian and dystopian aspects of modern life.
