The exhibition FAC-SIMILÉ presents 125 photographs by Ralf Peters from 14 series created between 1998 and the present day. At its core lies the question of the authenticity of photographic representations of reality. Peters combines everyday observations with deliberate manipulation to explore the possibilities of photography and to encourage viewers to think critically about images, consumer culture, and digital influences.
The works are displayed in a multimedia installation on screens and as a projection, complemented by printed photographs on the gallery walls.
