Jakob Schwerdtfeger: Meisterwerk
06.06.2024 - 06.06.2024
Bernhard Knaus Fine Art, Frankfurt, GER
Art touches our lives much more than we think. The Aldi bag, the Renault logo, Louis Vuitton bags - all designed by artists. Art is political, provocative, gripping and, above all, really fun. Jakob Schwerdtfeger shows all facets and skilfully juggles with the history of art, from cave painting to graffiti. He turns the stage into his canvas: comedy as if painted.
Deep amazement. Eyes wide open. Open mouths. This is the classic reaction to the Sistine Chapel and Jakob Schwerdtfeger's new stage programme "Meisterwerk". As a comedian and art historian, he combines humour and art knowledge, Mona Lisa's smile becomes a fit of laughter and Munch's famous painting becomes a cry of joy. Jakob Schwerdtfeger puts the art scene in a completely new light and moves through art history as playfully as if it were his bouncy castle.
On 6 June 2024, art historian and stand-up comedian Jakob Schwerdtfeger will fill our gallery with passion for art and humour for the second time. Be a part of the show!
Please note that this event will take place in German.
