Myriam Holme becomes the first recipient of the Mannheim Scholarship in memory of Roger Willemsen

The first Mannheim scholarship in memory of Roger Willemsen has been awarded to the artist Myriam Holme. The scholarship includes a four-week stay at the mare Künstlerhaus, the villa in Wentorf near Hamburg acquired by Roger Willemsen in 2015, as well as travel expenses and pocket money. The scholarship was created to honour the author and publicist Roger Willemsen, who died in 2016, and his special relationship with the city of Mannheim and to keep his work alive in Mannheim's cultural life. The city is cooperating with the Alte Feuerwache, the Roger Willemsen Foundation and the mare-Künstlerhaus.
