Art Meets Literature: A Reading from Fake Stories with Gerhard Kebbel
27.08.2026
Bernhard Knaus Fine Art, Niddastr. 84, 60329, Frankfurt am Main
On the occasion of the publication of his third novel, Fake Stories, we warmly invite you to a reading with Gerhard Kebbel on Thursday, 27 August at 7 pm at Galerie Bernhard Knaus Fine Art.
Fake Stories tells the story of four people at a turning point in their lives – and of the decisions that draw them ever deeper into a web of guilt, self-deception and conflicting memories. When a manuscript records the events, the supposed truth begins to unravel: everyone tells a different story, and everyone has something to hide. The result is a compelling novel that explores the question of what truly defines truth – the facts themselves, or the stories we tell about who we are.
Join us for an engaging evening with Gerhard Kebbel, who will read from his new novel and share insights into its creation. Following the reading, there will be an opportunity to meet the author and purchase a signed copy. Fake Stories is available as a Kindle e-book, as well as in hardcover and paperback editions, from bookshops and Amazon.
