Forests. From romance into the future
16.03.2024 - 11.08.2024
Museum Sinclair Haus, Bad Homburg
For many people today, forests are places where they can seek relaxation and recharge their batteries. Without the Romantic era, this special relationship to forests would hardly be conceivable. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the connections between Romantic and contemporary ideas of the forest - especially against the backdrop of current ecological crises. Jointly organized by three museums - the Deutsches Romantik-Museum, the Senckenberg Naturmuseum Frankfurt and the Museum Sinclair-Haus - the exhibition offers an interdisciplinary journey of discovery through the forests of the past, present and future.
