In 2020, Katja Davar won the competition for a site-specific artwork for the Fraunhofer Institute in Kassel. Her proposal engaged with the institution's multifaceted research into various areas of energy futures and distribution.
The artwork "Globe of Glass" is a marble floor mosaic consisting of circles and a variety of shapes. These signs refer to the Mesopotamian cuneiform symbol for sun.
